This is something that happened by chance, business friends helping business friends for the benefit of children, and Bargain Moving Company decided to continue and offer the same delivery service to other organizations, at no cost, for the benefit of families in need.

About a week before Christmas of 2009, Beth Davis of Goldstar contacted the people she knew at Bargain Moving Company. Her local church in Bixby had received a donation of several hundred bicycles from the Walmart in Bixby. The church was to deliver the bicycles to children in need. There was one small problem, all the bicycles had to be picked up from Walmart and taken to the church so they could be distributed to children for Christmas. A few people had pickup trucks but that was quite a load and would have taken several trips in pickup trucks. Beth called Jason with Bargain Moving Company, and asked if they could help the church out by using one of their moving trucks to get the bikes to the church.

Jason rounded up a crew and a truck and headed to Walmart at the designated time. After going through the proper channels at Walmart the movers and several volunteers from the Church started loading the bikes. There were too many bikes for the church to store on site so a local warehouse close by had room for the rest. Several hours later all the bikes were delivered so they could later be distributed by the church to the families in need.

Bargain Moving Company donated their truck and gas while 3 movers donated their time to help solve the small problem of picking up and delivering so many bicycles to the church. Actually, Bargain Moving Company only helped in a small part of the whole operation. Several hundred needy kids received bicycles for Christmas that year but the major donation was from Walmart. The next biggest step was the church getting all the bicycles to each family. Even though the part of Bargain Moving Company was a small one, it filled a need and is something BMC wanted to continue to help other organizations who help other local Oklahoma families. The end result is that Bargain Moving Company started a Movers Program - code name: Christmas Donations: Middleman Delivery.

If a church, charitable organization, or non profit group in the Tulsa area receives a large donation that can be hauled in moving trucks from a company or group in Oklahoma and that donation needs to be delivered to the organization's headquarters or warehouse in the Tulsa area, Bargain Moving Company can provide a crew and truck at no cost to transport the donation to the organization that receives it. The organization can then use its own resources to deliver the actual goods to the families in need. Bargain Moving Company can help out when needed by helping organizations with getting donations to their own location.
